How about Microsoft making a patch that will make either Outlook 2002 or
Vista compatible with one another?
Why is it that every new "compatible" operating system requires us to buy
our whole repertoir of software all over again??? This is why people are
switching to Mac and Linnux at record paces! We don't WANT to buy everything
every year or two- we want it to continue working as promised with each new
OS.
:
It is a known issue since Outlook 2002 writes the password to protected storage which does not exist in Windows Vista. Upgrade to Outlook 2003 or 2007.

After furious head scratching, Scallyman asked:
| Hi. I upgraded to vista, and am running office pro XP. every time I
| sign on to outlook, it asks me for passwords, even though I have
| previously ticked the box to ask to remember. Any ideas?
