Password prompt when attempt to add an issue

A team member needs to add an issue to a project. She is
getting a prompt for her user ID and password when
selecting the project. The system does not accept her
normal user ID/password. Any ideas why this is happening
and how we can get around this?

Issues use Windows Sharepoint Services and it only work with Windows
Authentication. So, You need to have a valid Window Accountt for the
user and add her as a user to the team web site in WSS.
