Password protect a single page

This is complicated, but here goes: I am a photographer and I focus mainly on dance competitions with children. I need to password protect the pages displaying the images since the subjects are all minors. What I would like is to have a page where they click on their name and are required to enter a password in order to view the images. Once they enter the correct password, it should bring up the page with their images. Is this possible with FP 2002? How do I do it?

What OS is your site hosted on, as database driven login system is most likely the best option.
