password protect one page??

Hi to all,
I'm stuck... I don't write code, but is there an easy way to password
protect one page of my website so as to have access by members only? I
envision a "log-in" page that will lead to the "members only" page if the
password is correct. I'm thinking one password for all.
Thanks for your consideration,
Carl

Your host will have to support subwebs and unique permissions under the FP Server Extensions

If you're hosted on a NIX server you can use the "Password Protect
Directories" function on your cPanel. Simply apply a username and password
to a directory (i.e., web folder), place your Members Only page in that
directory and provide the username/password to those that you want to access
the information.
