password protect outlook?

I've always wondered if there is a way to require a password for opening
Outlook, like say when you click on the icon it would ask for a password
before opening the program. Does anyone know if this is possible? Thanks.

Thanks Oliver. Although this solution looks like it could work, it does seem
odd that the program doesn't come with this ability built in. Seems like a
lot of people would like to be able to protect their email with an easy
password-before-opening kind of feature.

Simple, right click on Outlook Today, select Properties, then Advanced. Set
your password from there.

I read the instructions on how to password protect my PST file, but (and I
feel like an idiot for confessing this) I can't get past the first step: "On
the Go menu, click Folder List."

What or where is the Go menu? I'm using Outlook 2003 on Windows XP and we
don't have an Exchange server, if that makes any difference.

Thanks!!
