Password protect through code

Greetings,

My problem is I have a folder full of template files (*.dot) that I wish to
password protect through code rather than having to open them all one by one
manually, I have managed to get the file paths into an array but cannot work
out how to set a password and save the file, with the same file name,
without any manual intervention.

Any thoughts gratefully received.
