Password protect

Hi,

I'm new to Frontpage 2000 which I'm using in Windows XP Pro. I want to add
some family photos to my web site for other family members to download from.
What I want to stop is any casual browser doing the same. I can zip the
picture files and password protect but would like to perhaps just have a
login window that if correctly logged in, a family member will download non
protected file.

Is there an easy way of doing this and if so, any suggestions of code or
where I might find some.

I'm using ntlworld.com for hosting but am having trouble finding out what
system / server they are using, tried searching their web site but am
awaiting a reply from their technical team (hopefully).

Is there a way to find out via looking at their web page?

That said, do you have the web masters control panel for your hosting
account??

If so, see if it has a feature named Web Protect.
You can use it to password protect a folder and it's contents.
