Password-protected using ASP, Access, FP2002

Using the directions on
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?kbid=321439 I
attempted to create a password-protected page.
Everything seemed to go along smoothly until I got to
the "test page" part. The secure and unsecure links when
to the same place, and I never did get to the password
page. I tried redoing this five or six times, using
direct typing, and cut & paste. Any suggestions??
