Password Protection

Since I am the ony user of a database program I created, I wanted to remove
the pop up box that asked for my user id everytime I started access. The help
file said to tools/security/user and group permission, click on the user name
(Admin by default) then click "remove password".

Now that I have done that, I cannot open my database because a message box
pops up on start up that tells me that I do not have permission to access
this database. It tells me to contact the creator of the database (me) to
obtain permission.

I have tried repair and fix and then a reinstall of access. Nothing works!!!!

What is wrong?

Perhaps previously you logged as other user then admin, so you need to put
password back, log on, give full permissions to admin user and then clear
password again
