Password Protection

I have an Excel spreadsheet created by a former employee
and password protected. I cannot find out the password.
Is there a way to disable the password?

Try this:

It contains a macro posted by Norman Harker and J.E. McGimpsey that removes both
workbook protection and worksheet protection (tools|protection, not passwords to
open).
