Password protetion FP 2003

I cannot find any detail "how to" on password protection
for Front page 2003 anywhere in the help system.
How do you do it? I want to password protect photos on
some of my web pages.
Also, when I click FP 2003 help, I go to an office web
site - why?

1. Put all the password-protected in its own subweb.
2. With that subseb open, choose Server from the tool
menu, and then choose Permissions.
3. If the resulting Web page says, "Using same
permissions as parent web," click Change permissions,
select Use Unique Permissions For This Web Site,
and click Submit.
4. Click Manage Users, and make sure all the user
accounts you want have all the permissions you want.
5. Return to the Permissions Administration page,
and click Change Anonymous Access Settings.
6. Click Anonymous access is: Off, then click Submit.

I have an uncomfortable feeling, though, that you might
want to password-protect the pictures, but not the Web
pages. That won't work: the pictures will be password-
protected all the time.
Also, when I click FP 2003 help, I go to an office web
site - why?

There *are* some commands on the Help menu that jumpto
Office Online and other Web sites. Are you sure you
aren't selecting one of those?

Otherwise, did you install the local help System? This is
an option in Setup. To check:

1. Go to Control Panel.
2. Start Add Or Remove Programs.
3. Double-click Microsoft Office FrontPage 2003.
4. Click Next to display the Choose Update Options For
Applications And Tools panel.
5. On that panel, open Microsoft Office, then
Microsoft Office FrontPage.
6. Make sure Help is selected (Run From My Computer),
then click Update.
