Is there any way I can unhide a sheet that has been
protected at workbook level if I don't have the password?

I should have said that I'm not asking for this for any
nefarious purposes. I have been given a picture quiz on
Excel which has the answers on the hidden/protected
sheet. My colleague is convinced that the password
protection can be gotten around and I say it can't.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Try searching the archives for "password", "crack" or some such other
word(s). You will find many, many posts on this topic.

BTW, my money's with your colleague!

Hi Shep,

It IS possible to find ANY passwords in any Excel file, to unprotect
sheets, open the VBA Project, open the file, etc.

Please do not attempt to access a file unless authorised to do so.

If you want a demo, you can download some free ones here:

Or here:

Or here:

Etc, etc... !
