Passwords not saving in outlook 2003

hi there, i just updated to 2003 and now my passwords arent saving, though
they are checked for saving. i have done according to the article at MS in
terms of editing the registry keys associated with this but i still have the
same problem. unfortunately, MS doesnt offer any more advice after that.
does anyone know of any other solutions to this. its getting very
frustrating to type in 6 passwords every time i need to check mail.

Presumably the kb was 290684, you might try recreating one of the accounts
(new) see if that one is remembered.

i did try recreating one of my accounts but to no avail, still stuck asking
for password. anyone else know of any possible solution for this?

does anyone know if microsoft will even bother to look at this issue that im
having? its getting very frustrating, this only happened after installing
office 2003.

i wonder if i can get a refund, LOL, yeah right
