After installing AutoCad6 Offic XP will not recognize valid passwords for my
protected documents

Installing another application shall not cause any problems with the
password protection feature of Office. Are you sure have the correct
keyboard settings correct (language) and the caps lock is set to off?

I can not open my excel from Microsoft office XP professional 2000. It will
not recognize valid passwords for my protected documents

There is no such product as Microsoft office XP professional 2000.

However I find it *extremely* unlikely that Excel does not recognise valid
passwords. More likely by several orders of magnitude is that you have
entered them incorrectly.

i have a question of my own... if i wanted to find out a password for a site,
how would i go about doing this?

how do i iew the passwords stored in my cookies, the I.E. help said that
"Cookies are stored is in a folder named Cookies which is stored inside the
Documents and Settings folder. By default, the path is C:\Documents and
Settings\your user name\Cookies." but when i looked there there was nothing.
how else could i find them?
