paste form IE7 to Word hangs Word

Cutting and pasting from IE7 to Word or to Outlook when Word is used at the Editor hangs Word. The problem appears in various systems (home & work). All systems are up-to-date with patches from Microsoft and the problem didn't occur prior to IE7.

Using Firefox 2.x causes no problems.

Anyone have any ideas?

IE7 blocks this activity for security reasons. You'll find that you can
Edit, Paste Special and chose plain text and it will work.
