Hi Ronald,
Edit=>Paste Special=>Picture(picture type) is still available
in Word when the clipboard contains information to support a
specific graphic type.
For example - with Word on the screen use the 'Print Scrn' key
to create a Windows screen capture. If you use, at this point,
Edit=>Paste Special, you will find the choice to paste as a bitmap,
information that the Windows default clipboard supports for the
screen capture. Paste the screen capture into a blank document.
Next, use Ctrl-X (cut) while that pasted graphic is selected in
your Word document and again use Edit=>Paste Special and you
should see, among others, choices for Picture(picture type) that
the Office clipboard supports.
==========Why did the Paste Special, Picture command disappear from
the Paste Special menu in Word 2003. It always gave good
results and it kept the filesize small. What to use as
alternative?
