Hello Word experts,

I use MS Word 2003 extensively in MS Windows XP environment. From the past
few weeks I have been experiencing an issue that is bothering me and
impacting my performance. A short description of the problem is here:

When I copy and paste text in Word and paste it in the same document, for
some reasons the keyboard mapping got changed. The s key prints o, the d key
prints h, and so on.

Language is set to US English.

Please help.

Thanks

Well, since no one else has ventured...

You say the language is set to US English. But are you certain that's the
language setting for the text you've copied and pasted? The behavior you
describe sound very much as if the keyboard language is switching to match the
language formatting. Check in Tools/Language/Set language, the checkbox "Detect
language automatically". If it's activated, turn it off.
