Pasting Editable Gantt OLE from Project 2007 Into PowerPoint 2007

When I insert the linked OLE object, PowerPoint always defaults to object
size 1.68 inches x 4.9 inches, which is only large enough to show the top
left corner. When I resize the object, it just stretches the current view by
resizing the font and sizes of cells. Opening the object and editing in
Project changes the data displayed in PowerPoint, but not the format of the
view. Updating the link doesn't work either. Changing the font size in
Project only changes the appearance of the font in ProjectWise, not the size
of the cells.

Hello pharouff,

I personally rarely link from a project file to anything else. I
have had much better luck using the Edit > Copy Picture button on
the Standard toolbar, saving as a GIF file and inserting that
picture into PowerPoint. The gif is not linked, so should you need
to present the PPT presentation again at another date, you'll need
to manually update the presentation with a new Gif.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.
