Pasting Excel Chart as pic changes to B&W

Any ideas on how to paste a color excel chart as a
picture into PP without it changing to Black and White?

It works if I paste special as "Device Independent
Bitmap" but the colors don't look as clear.

I had a similar problem recently. This is what I learned then: In Excel mark
the area you want to copy, press the Shift key when clicking "Edit", instead
of "Copy" you'll find "Copy image" in the menu. Use this and use "Paste
special" when pasting into PowerPoint.
