pasting into Word equals frozen computer

HI! When I try to paste text from a website into Word it jus
freezes...that little hour glass never goes away, I use th
conrtol+alt+delete to close the program. According to the propertie
thing I have file version 10.0.3416.0 if you need to know that. It'
driving me crazy and any help would be very appreciated. THANKS! :

Empty your temporary cache, in Internet Explorer, tools, Internet Options,
delete files.

Thank you very much for the suggestion. Sadly, I still have the sam
problem. That little hour glass just doesn't quit! Any more ideas

A simple explanation is that pasting into Office applications from the
web takes a VERY long time to complete. Please be patient while it
completes, or save the pages locally within the browsers and then do you
r copy paste.
