Pasting .jpeg onto MS Word strange behaviour

T

Trajano Roberto

hi all,

We've downloaded a .jpeg picture from the Internet, opened a blank page
using MS Word 2000 and inserted a picture pointing to the .jpeg file
location.

We cannot see the .jpeg picture but a blank box??? (if we do a print screen,
we can see the picture)

Question: How can we see the picture during edit mode?

Using MS Word 97 everything works fine. However with MS Word 2000, it is
very difficult to understand how to control the position of the picture on
the screen.

Any documents out there explaining the differences.

thanks

Trajano

Tools-options-view, picture placeholders (uncheck it)

we just wonder why MS has substantially changed from MS 97 to MS 2K

thanks anyway

Trajano
