Pasting Logo from Web into a Word Document

When I try to Paste a Logo that I have copied from the Web into a word document all I get is a Picture square with nothing inside it. What is going on? I used to do this all the time and now it won't let me. Any reply would be greatly appreciated.

Did you check Tools --> Options --> View tab --> Show
area --> Picture Placeholders checkbox. If this is
checked you will only see a box. Hopefully this is all it
is.
