Pasting Pictures

I have WORD 2003. I'm having a new problem pasting "pictures". It used to
work just fine. I have "Picture Placeholders" blank, Wrapping is set to
Through on Options, Edit, Insert/Paste Picture as... I checked for updates
to my display, as suggested in previous question, and I am up to date. I
can paste the "picture, not see it until I press "enter"? If I paste
another "picture", I also have to press enter to see it,or I loose bothe
(not visable). Can anyone help??
Thanks

It may have something to do with what you are copying or where you are
copying it from, but first check Tools>Options>View to make sure you *do*
have a check in the box for Drawings. If that isn't the problem share more on
the source/type of content being pasted.

I am having the exact same problem, I wish I could be of more help other than
to tell you that I have been trying to solve this problem for some time with
no success. I am having the same problem in outlook and of course word is my
editor. I also have the same problem with any type of images that I add to a
word document or email message. If you have solved the problem or if anybody
else has any ideas - please post. Also I have compared every setting
(options) I can find on multiple computers that do not have this problem and
still am unable to get my primary computer to work right.

Alright, I reduced the hardware acceleration by two notchs from full. That is
in display properties settings advanced trobleshoot. It appears to have
solved my problem. My photos in word now display correctly. I hope this fix
holds. I think this problem stated about the same time as I upgraded to SP2?
