Pasting text into Frontpage Web

I have an html routine in text format that author says to just paste it in
to my web page. There seems no way to paste html text. can anyone help?

First paste into Notepad and then copy and paste into HTML
view.

Just place your cursor in page view where you want the new
code to appear when you switch.
