pasting track changes into a new document

I have a document that has track changes in it. I need to copy that text
with the track changes intact into another larger document.

Problem is when I paste into the larger document it treats the entire new
text as a track changes so it all becomes red not just the subset that was
sent for review. any advice would be appreiciated?

Turn off Track Changes in the larger document before you paste the text into
it.
