Pasting Visio objects into Word 2003...a step backward from word 2000

Hi;

I have a problem with word 2003 where when I embed an
visio object and center, the word 2003 trashes the
resolution and precision of the image. ie it almost looks
like it invoked some lite weight graphics editor and
changed the font and picture to be something very amature.

When I set the customize to center all pictures it works
well but still invokes absolute reference rather than
relative reference to the insertion point.

Note: This ia BIG step backward from word
2000...formating the object into the center did NOT change
the quality of the picture.
