In Office 2004 I used to be able to copy a selection of tables and text from Word , paste it into Powerpoint, and it would be transferred as a nice picture with a transparent background. In 2008, after pasting Powerpoint displays a link to the original Word file (with a white background). Paste special or paste as picture options are not available (and paste as picture in Word looks very bad anyways). Is there a way to paste a Word selection as a high resolution picture into Powerpoint, preferably with a transparent background?
