Path in Footer

Using Visio 2003
How do I add the network path & filename to the footer?

Do you really need a footer? If the drawing prints to a single page, you can
use a background page rather than a header/footer. The background page is
far more flexible.

The reason headers and footers exist is to allow a drawing to be printed on
multiple pages and a limited amount of information is printed on each piece
of paper.

If you really need to add the path to the footer and the background page
will not do, write a short VBA macro to populate the field

something like

Headerfooter.left = activedocument.path
