Path not found in CMD during rgstrtn.lck attempt

Hey Guys,
I've recently upgraded to windows 7 64 and have been vainly attemptin
to re-install my office 2007. Everytime I try to install, it quits righ
away and says "error during setup".

I've done a bit of research and it seems like I have to delete th
rgstrtn.lck file which I have tried to do as per the instructions on th
microsoft website. However at the step where I am supposed to typ
"attrib -h rgstrtn.lck" I get the following message:
"Path not found".

subsequently I am unable to delete the rgstrtn.lck file.
I tried manually going through my regedit and deleting all office 1
files again as per microsofts website, however that has not fixed m
problem.

I am still getting the same error during setup message when I try t
install office 2007.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I could do or try? I reall
need to get office working. Thanks

I tried manually going through my regedit and deleting all office 12
files again as per microsofts website, however that has not fixed my

You probably need to:

- Open a command window, navigate to the folder where rgstrtn.lck is saved
and run the command from there, or

- Supply the full path to rgstrtn.lck wherever else you're typing the
command. If the path includes spaces, put quotes around it, a la:

attrib -h "c:\program files\or\whatever\rgtrtn.lck"
