pausing a macro

Hi is there any way that i can pause a macro so that i can enter in a file
name before funning the rest of it i am working with access 2000

How long does the macro take to run? The only way to stop one that I
know of is to use one of the Stop actions. I would think if you detail
the situation that a more efficient method could be figured out.
