PC EXCEL macros not working on Mac Office 2004

Hi,

I have just tried a Excel based application called qbase which was
clearly designed on a PC and just comes up with Automation error. I do
not know a thing about VBA but can anyone give me any advice as to how
I might start going about trying to get this application working on my
Mac.

Do you have a reference for it? The first thing I found was an
Access-based app, which won't run on Macs:
