Hi all,
Can anyone help me solve this puzzle. My PC takes a while
to actually open up a table or query either in table mode
or design mode.
I am running Office XP Developers Edition SP2 on Windows
98SE, 2.4 GHz Pentium IV with 256 MB DDR and a 20GB Hard
Drive. The Jet database has been upgraded to SP6. I also
have VB6 and SQL Server client installed. The only
applications running is Outlook XP, Norton Anti-Virus 2003
Corporate Edition and Access XP.
On another machine of exactly the same spec the queries
open fine but have only got the standard Office XP
installation and do not have VB6 or SQL Server installed.
Can anyone help this frustrated man?
