PDA synch question

In Outlook, how do I get PC to override PDA? and then later change this?

I have a Palm, so your's may be different.
Right click on the HotSync icon in the System Tray (lower
right corner of the desktop).
Select 'Custom'
Select the function you want to change (Date Book for
example)
Click Change
The HotSync actions for that function will be listed
there.

Currently have Pocket PC, and program is different. The commands you
mentioned do not exist in Active Sync. Previously had Palm which
seemed easier/simpler in some ways.
