PDF file as page, not downloadable file??

Can you have a PDF file show up as a web page, or is only
as a link that a user can download?

It has to download before it can open in the Adobe Reader, even if it is embedded in a page.

You can copy/paste, but it will never look the same. Avoid a migraine leave it as .pdf and provide a link to adobe reader.

PDF is a intended for printable documents, and on-computer viewing but not as
'web pages' as such.

Acrobat 5.0 I think can support html and javascript and such so the later
versions, yet they support some web elements such as online forms for submission
(like html forms).

But you rely on users having adobe reader.....

why do you need PDF above ordinarly html?

Unfortunately, clients and employers don't really care how you do it, just so it's done
They send you the file in a .pub or .pdf and expect you to just copy and paste it into their web. Can't be done reliably
..pdf is a simple solution and providing a link to the latest adobe reader is a no brainer.
