I am trying to put a PDF file in a web page so that when the user clicks
it , acrobat will open and display it.

I'm at a lost as to how to do this.

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Put the text file on a separate page, and then link that page with the text,
or whatever, that will be clicked. That's the way I handle data files.

1. Open your frontpage website
2. Drag the file from its location in Windows Explorer [your computer], and
drop it into the Folder List or Folder View.
3. Open the Web Page your visitors will view before retrieving the .pdf
file.
4. Using the RIGHT MOUSE BUTTON, drag the file from the Folder List and drop
it onto the open web page.
5. When the shortcut menu appears choose CREATE HYPERLINK.
6. If you want, edit the hyperlink text.
