pdf files work in netscape but not IE ?

I have some pdf files that I just discovered won't open in Internet
Explorer 6.0.28 while they open just fine in Netscape 7.1

This *seems* new to me, but now I am unsure whether they used to open
with IE

The url is: http://www.ownertrades.com/NewsReleases/Newsreleases.htm

Each of the date links is supposed to open a pdf file.

Is this a known problem? Or have I done something wrong in the way I
linked to the files? (site designed using FP2000)

Thanks

Well go figure. At least now I know the rest of the world is seeing it
ok while I figure out what the #@%7* would be causing my own system not
to see it.

thanks for responding.

No problem here, suggest you download and re-install the Adobe Reader.

Work fine for me in both IE 6.0.28 and Firebird 0.7 using Acrobat 5.1. Try
reinstalling Acrobat.

I had problems with Adobe files not launching in IE (never would), and
Mozilla (sporadic). I had Adobe Acrobat 4.0 and Adobe Reader 6.0. I
think the root cause was having the two Adobe products. I can't
remember exactly, but I think I un-installed both and started again to
find a combination that would work. Never found that nirvana. Problem
disappeared when upgraded to Adobe Acrobat 6.0. I never found any
references on Adobe's web site about this problem. I suspect registry
settings were all confused by the old and new software.

So ... the good news is I sympathise .. potential bad news is that you
may not have the same setup, but the symptoms seem the same.
