Dear Experienced FrontPageUsers,

I have a FrontPage98 site that I would like to put PDF files on.

I have created a folder, then tried copy/pasting the pdf file into it with
no success.

FPHelp yields no information on PDF files at all and I'm wondering if FP98
can even accommodate this task.

Can anyone shed any light on this for me?

TIA,

Kelly Kirsch

Try importing the files then creating a link to them.

Rod,

Thank you for a quick reply. As I was stumbling around FP, I found that
option as well, and it worked.

Only *issue* is the slow opening of the pdf file on a slow dialup. Is there
a way to compress so it might open more quickly?

TIA,

Not and still have it open as a pdf document
in Acrobat.

There are optimization options available within Acrobat. Take a look at the
Distiller options and turn off things such as font embedding. This can
reduce your file size which will result in faster downloads.

Jack,

Thanks for the quick reply and good tip. I'll give it a try.
