Yes, note however that PDS is gone from PS 2007, replaced by a completely
new interface PSI. If you are not upgrading soon I recommend updating using
Office automation to update the projects directly in Project itself before
getting your code to save and publish back to server.
Your code can be entirely in Project VBA as VBA can read data from external
databases etc and will run faster than Project being controlled from another
application.
