People and groups > User information in PWA 2007

Hello,
In the Project Web Access > People and Groups > User Information page, some
users have a tool bar with an "Edit Item" button, but many of them have
nothing. Why?
Thanks for help

If you are noticing that users can only edit their own user information, then
this is as a result of the the following site permission being allowed "
Edit Personal User Information - Allows a user to change his or her own
user information, such as adding a picture. " This permission is set at the
group level site settings>permission levels>

Farm administrators however should have the permissions to edit all user
information.

Thanks a lot Paul,

Eventually I found where this permission is located.
But it still doesn't work. I have the Web Administrator permissions,
especially with the "Edit Personal User Information" but I'm not able to
change any user information. 2 days ago I was doing that without any
problem...
Any idea?

PS : What is the children's charity you take care? What are they doing ?

Enter site permissions, select settings and then site collection admins.

Do you see your user account which you are logged into in this section ? If
not, by adding it in you will be able to edit the Sharepoint profiles. If
you are already in this group, then there's another issue.

Cure Kids in a charity based in NZ which cares for terminally ill children.
I rasied $1500 for them last year by doing a 12 hour bike ride. This year
I'm hoping I can raise a similar amount without the same amount of effort.

Paul,
I'm not far from the very problem:
I'm using 2 administrators' accounts for different simulations. I just
noticed that one of them has one less option in the Site Actions / Site
Settings page :
In the "Users and Permissions" section this administrator does not have the
"Site collection administrators" link.
The other administrator is able to Edit any user in the People and Groups
page.
Why the first administrator does not have the "Site collection
administrators" link ?
Thanks for you help.

I checked that the two administrators have the same permissions : Web
Administrators (Microsoft Office Project Server)
???
