Percent Comp. in plan vs. resource time sheet

When I update a project plan as the project manager I would expect that if I
mark a task complete that it would either drop off the assigned resources
time sheet or at least show complete on the time sheet. Am I missing
something or is this expected functionality?

Here's a more detailed explanation. I assign resource "bob" to task "create
form" with a duration of 8 hours. I find out that bob has already done the
task so I update the "create form" task on the project plan to 100% complete.
I save and publish all changes but the task still shows up on bob's
timesheet as 8 hours 0 percent complete.

Any help would be much appreciated.

After manually updating the project plan with the % complete, the project
manager must click Collaborate - Publish - Republish Assignments, select the
"Overwrite actual work entered by resources" option, and then click OK.
This process will "push" the actuals from the project plan to the affected
users' timesheets in PWA. Hope this helps.

That did it! I don't know why I didn't see that option before. Thanks for
the help.
