Percent Complete Variance

I am using Project Professional 2007 and have multiple people updating the
schedule. I need to know when the percent complete for a task has been
updated. Any way to determine this?

Store the MPP files in some sort of Doc mgmt system with version
control. Check out to edit locally (since Project works best when using
a local copy), then check back in. The Doc Mgmt system them stores
records of all the changes and you can revert to old versions if necessary.

We use SharePoint as the repository for this purpose. Simple and easy,
and most importantly de-risks a lot of things about the files.
