Performance for table display Master Slave.

I use a table view Master Slave for 150 rows in the table view Slave. I
tested the speed of switching tabular representation of the different number
of columns in a table view Slave. For 1 column in the Slave Master switch is
not measurable, for 12 columns in the Slave is the time to display up to 3
seconds. Is there a solution to Master Slave switch for the volume of 150
rows 12 columns with less time?
