I have a client using an Access 2003 application (.adp) and about half the
workstations have recently been upgraded from Windows 2000 to XP. For some
reason reports which run quickly on the Windows 2000 machines run very slowly
on the XP machines, even when the XP machines are newer and faster.
Particularly affected seem to be reports using groupings of many tens of
thousands of records. Is there something going on here I should know about.
The clients with the XP machines are very frustrated!
