Performance Problems with Access 95

Andreas

when i run an access 95 application on windows XP SP2 the perfomance goes
dramatically down. I don't face such problems on other windows (98, 2000 etc)
Any suggestions????

well, as i know access 95 runs only on systems with maximum 512 MB memory...
to increase the memory will not help at all...
do you have any other suggestions?
thanks...

Yes, but you won't appreciate my suggestion. Upgrade to Access 97 at
least.

I have to agree with Tony. The 2 worst versions, stability-wise, are Access
95 and Access 2000. It's a toss-up which I hated the most. The instability
mostly manifested itself during development. Once the application was
finished, I didn't have too many problems.

i hate 2000 the most..

i mean.. SQL 2000 and Access 2000 don't play nice without a special
patch.. i mean-- who was the PM that came up with that idea?
