Permanent Delete

Hi,

I'm running Outlook 2003. When I create a rule to permanently delete a
message it chooses another option to stop processing rules and I can't
uncheck it. Does this mean that when this rule is encountered all other
rules are not used anymore and the rest of my incoming emails go to the
Inbox even though they may have rules concerning them????

Also, in Outlook Express if you wanted 2 conditions in a rule you could
change it from (e.g.) "this condition" AND "that condition" to "this
condition" OR "that condition" whereas in Outlook it's an AND - is there a
way to change the AND to an OR like I can in OE because I can't seem to find
it???

Many Thanks In Advance

No, it means that no other rules will be applied to a message that meets the
condition(s) of the rule with the "Stop processing" action. This makes
perfect sense: Since you are permanently deleting it, there's nothing left
to process by subsequent rules.

Outlook handles OR in different ways depending on the exact conditions you
want to set, which you didn't mention.
