I have the 2007 Office Pro Trial installed and it seems to be operating fine.
I purchased the 2007 upgrade pro version which I have not received, yet. I am
upgrading from Office XP Pro. Can I use the new product key to register the
trial version instead of reinstalling from the new disks?

Thanks, Bob. As soon as I receive the program, I'll give it a shot and let
you know.

Thanks, JoAnn. I'll have to wait until I receive the program before I can do
anything. Thanks for the response.

Although you might be able to, I'd recommend that you back up your work
files, etc and uninstall the trial first then install the full version.

Hi JoAnn,

There isn't any difference between the Office 2007 trial downloads and the retail CD copy except that the trials don't remove prior
versions as the default, and the retail copies do.

I still have doubts about converting from a trial. Too many people with
computers that have issues because of the two versions. You know me - I'm a
skeptic. ;-)

Hi Jo Ann,

While you may be skeptical, there isn't an advantage to replacing one copy of software with another that is the same :) but there is
a risk if something is already working of breaking it by changing it.
