Permanently freezing a logo in a header...

I am a graphic designer who recently created a logo for a client. The logo is
finalized, and the letterhead has been prepared.

The client wants one final touch. He wants the logo frozen in place so that
recipients of the doc file cannot mistakenly move or manipulate it. I believe
that this is simply a matter of running a macro.

A naturally locked header isn't sufficient. The logo becomes vulnerable with
a double click. The client wants absolute security.

I found this tutorial which says that it can be done, but I don’t know what
“paste into a document module†means…

The logo is already in the header. Can anybody fill me in on how to lock it
permanently?

Possibly, but any user can easily disable macros, thus bypass macro-based IP
protection.

Your client will be disappointed. There's nothing remotely approaching
absolute security in any Office document format. And even if you could make
it difficult to edit/modify the header, you'd still have the problem of
preventing users from pasting other graphical images on top of your client's
logo, thus hiding or defacing it.
