I am currently using Project Server 2007. I export my reports from Data
Analysis into Excel. Once the reports are there, I would like to use the
'Group' feature in Excel. However, when I attempt to group, I get the
following error message:
"Either the <my alias> user does not have permission to retreive metadata
for the 'MSP_Portfolio_Analyzer' object, or the object does not exist"
To troubleshoot this, I gave myself full control in Analysis Services so I
would have full control to the MSP_Portfolio_Analyzer object. This seems to
fix the problem, but when the cube runs, this permission is wiped out.
1. Do you have any other suggestions on how to fix this error?
2. If not, is there any way for this permission to NOT be wiped out when
the cube is run?
Thanks!
