Permissions Greyed Out

Hi,

I have seen this question posted many times, but i have never seen a
solution to the problem.

The problem is that suddenly from one day to another you cant change the
permission on a folder (i am running Exchange). And this applies both to
personal and public folders. The only account you can change options for, is
the default account. You can see all the other accounts but you can not
change their privileges.

I found out that it is something in your local profile on the computer,
because if you go to another computer or delete the local profile and logon
again, the problem is no longer there.

but it is really a pain to build your profile up again from scratch, i just
did that, and it lasted for 2 days, before i could not change the
permissions again!!! I am very frustrated right now.

I know that you can change the permissions on public folders via exchange
system manager also, but it would be nice and quicker to do it the other way
around.

Anyone have a solution to this?

Thanks.
