Permissions in Calendar - Barred (and it's a solo install with new outlook software!

Peggy Permissions in Calendar Stuck!

I just started using a brand new boxed Outlook 2003 Professional. When trying to enter a new appointment calendar item of any sort - it now says - this message has restricted permission and cannot be viewed in the viewing pane until you verify your credentials? Open the item to read its contents and verify your credentials.

It won't let me open an item in any manner - clicking or going to the file > open.

Help! I can't get to any of my calendar options! Whatever did I click on accidentally. No one here to use my computer but me and brand new Office 2003 Pro Software!!!
